Working with directors, performers and choreographers is a wonderful source of joy and inspiration in my life. I will constantly marvel over the endless exploration of the human body in motion. My compositions and sounddesigns are used as inspiration and accompaniment for contemporary dance performances, art installations and theatre plays.

A music-dramatic work about the difficult love you have for others, but most of all the love you have for yourself.

"I AM ALSO SOMALIA"

A theatre and music performance by DItte Maria Bjerg. It takes us on a journey back to The National Theatre of Somalia in Mogadishu. What became of Maryam Mursal and the other stars from the theatre? What became of The National Theatre? And what is riwaayad? We meet ghosts, Italian and British colonialists and fierce freedom fighters. We find fascinating Somali jazz, Afro hair, and proud artists. I AM ALSO SOMALIA entertains and educates you for your own good!
